  From January 30 to March 9, 2016, the "Galerie Sheriban Türkmen" hosts the exhibition "Severe Beauty - Strenge Schönheit".

• "Severe Beauty" shows a series of abstract architectural photography. The pictures do not strive for naturalistic representation of reality but for unfolding an aesthetic intuition.

• By focusing on architectural details and their disassociation the view opens for something new. Reduction of colors and shapes establish a free space for imagination. In this process the abstract form, lines, light, shadows create beauty: Severe Beauty, "Strenge Schönheit".

• Part of the exhibition are some pictures from the "White Wall" series, a collection of square format images showing stylised house façades in black and white.
